Refund Policy

Try Pain Academy with confidence, here’s exactly how refunds work.

We want you to feel confident about your purchase. That’s why we offer a free placement test, a free first lesson, and a free trial before you ever pay tuition, so you can experience the program before committing.

Pain Academy is a self-guided program. Because of the introductory access, free workshops, and free content we already provide, we do not issue refunds simply because you decide you don’t want to do the program after using it. The two exceptions below cover almost every legitimate refund situation.

72-hour refund window

We offer a full refund on any charge within 72 hours (3 days) of the transaction. This applies whether you were charged for a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, a workshop, or coaching.

To request a 72-hour refund, contact our support team within 72 hours of the charge. Include the email on your account and the date of the charge so we can locate it quickly.

Medical exceptions

If a qualified healthcare professional directs you to discontinue or avoid participating in a fitness program for medical reasons, you may be eligible for a prorated refund on any unused portion of your subscription, even outside the 72-hour window. Please provide a signed note or letter from your doctor when you contact support.

Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account. The important deadlines:

  • Monthly subscription: billed every 30 days. Cancel before your next billing date to avoid the next charge. No refunds are issued for partial-month subscription periods.
  • Yearly subscription: billed upfront with automatic annual renewals. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next year. No refunds are issued for partial subscription periods.
  • 7-day free trial: cancel any time before day 8 to pay nothing. You keep access through the end of the trial.

How to request a refund

Email members@painacademy.net with the subject line “Refund request”. Include:

  • The email address on your Pain Academy account
  • The date and amount of the charge you’d like refunded
  • The reason for your request (and a doctor’s note if applicable)

We typically reply within 1–2 business days. Approved refunds post back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
