The Muscle Imbalance Workshop

A free online workshop for people who’ve been told they have “muscle imbalances,” “weak glutes,” or a “bad side” — and want to understand what actually helps.

If you’ve been told your pain comes from muscle imbalances — tight here, weak there, one side stronger than the other — this workshop will help you understand what imbalance really means, why endlessly “correcting” it often doesn’t work, and how to build a body that feels strong and capable again.

The bigger picture

Your pain may not be just an “imbalance problem.”

Most muscle-imbalance advice focuses on what’s tight or weak:

Your tight hip flexors.Your weak glutes.Your dominant side.Your posture.Your core.Your alignment.

And of course, strength and mobility matter. But when pain lasts for months or years, moves around, or keeps returning no matter how many imbalances you “fix,” there may be more going on than a muscle that’s a little tight or a little weak.

Your nervous system may be playing a bigger role than you’ve been told.

That does not mean your pain is fake. It means your body may be stuck in a cycle of pain, fear, guarding, and sensitivity — and that cycle can begin to change.

That’s what this free workshop is about.

What we’ll do

In this free workshop, you’ll learn.

01

What “muscle imbalance” actually means — and how much asymmetry is normal and healthy.

02

Why tight or weak muscles are often a result of the pain cycle, not just the cause of it.

03

How posture, strength, and movement patterns fit into the bigger picture.

04

A gentle movement practice to help you feel more balanced, supported, and strong.

05

How fear and guarding can keep certain muscles switched “off” or overworking.

06

How to build genuine, whole-body strength without endlessly chasing every imbalance.

Who it’s for

If any of these sound like you.

You’ve been told you have muscle imbalances, weak glutes, or a “bad side.”

You feel tight on one side, weak on the other, or uneven when you move.

You’ve done corrective exercises for months without lasting change.

You have recurring pain that moves around or keeps coming back.

You want to feel strong and capable instead of fragile.

Before you commit

This is not a high-pressure challenge.

No pushing through pain.

No chasing every imbalance you’ve ever been told about.

No pressure to feel a dramatic result by the end.

This is a calm, educational workshop to help you understand strength and balance differently, reduce fear around movement, and begin rebuilding trust in your body without forcing it to prove it is okay.

Inside the workshop

What to expect.

You’ll be guided through a clear teaching session, a calmer way to understand muscle imbalance and pain, and a gentle movement practice you can use to begin feeling more balanced and strong.

The goal is not to hunt down and “fix” every imbalance.

The goal is to help you build whole-body strength and move with more trust and less fear.

The workshop will be about 90 minutes and will include:

45 min

Education to help you understand muscle imbalance and pain through the body, movement, and nervous system.

10 min

Simple movement check-ins and assessments.

25 min

Gentle, whole-body movement practice.

10 min

Post-movement reflection, live Q&A, and next steps.

Set yourself up

What you’ll need.

For the movement portion, we’ll be getting down on the ground to do the exercises.

Please plan to have:

  • A comfortable place to lay down.
  • A little room around you to move.
  • A yoga block, if you have one.
  • A simple couch pillow or bed pillow if you don’t have a yoga block.
  • A chair nearby, just in case you want extra support.

You don’t need anything fancy. Just make sure you have enough space to get on the ground comfortably and move at your own pace.

After years of treatments that did not give him the answers he needed, Vinny began searching for a different way to understand pain, movement, and the body. That path led him to become a Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Posture Alignment Specialist, and certified in Pain Reprocessing Therapy.

Today, Vinny has helped more than 15,000 people learn how to work with their bodies in a calmer, nervous-system-informed way — without forcing, pushing, or ignoring pain.

This workshop is designed to give you a clearer way to understand strength and balance and a safer place to begin.
